David Jackson is a principal at Gamble & Schlemeier, Missouri's leading government relations firm recognized among the nation's top 10 in 2023. Entering the field of lobbying at the age of 19, he holds the distinction of being Missouri's youngest registered lobbyist. Concurrently with his professional responsibilities, he completed his education at Westminster College, self-financing his studies through his work in lobbying and independent study programs aligned with his client engagements.

He distinguished himself academically as the youngest graduate of the Executive MBA program at Olin Business School, Washington University in St. Louis. Prior to his current role which he assumed in 2016, David served as managing partner at the Gate Way Group, the government affairs sector of a consulting firm with a multi-state footprint, focusing on lobbying, media, ballot initiatives, and event management.

Over a 16-year career, David has been instrumental in facilitating over 100 policy changes at state and local levels, representing a diverse clientele from large corporations to small businesses, non-profit organizations, philanthropic entities, and business coalitions. In his capacity at Gamble & Schlemeier, he manages a significant portion of the firm's client accounts and was elevated to the position of principal in 2020.

His professional network includes over a thousand state and local elected officials, and he has provided counsel on political contributions totaling in excess of $25 million. David's contributions to public discourse include serving as a spokesperson for various clients and contributing to state and local news and radio as a subject matter expert.
