Katie graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Sociology and Politics & International Affairs with a concentration in Crime and Criminal Justice from Wake Forest University, While attending Wake Forest, she launched her governmental consulting career through internships with firms at both the state and federal level. Katie officially joined Gamble and Schlemeier full-time in 2016. Katie works on issues to assist Gamble and Schlemeier's over 100 clients covering a wide variety of policy areas including, but not limited to, education, emerging technologies, health care, business, economic development, cyber security, and transportation. Katie also has experience in association management and acting as a liaison between state and national associations. She is honored to have been recognized in the Missouri Times 30 Under 30 and is currently serving on the board of the Friends of the Missouri Governor’s Mansion. Katie is strategically located in Kansas City, Missouri to better serve the firm’s clients that stretch throughout the state.
